An eclectic mix of jazz styles and songs from the past 5 decades, “Life Lessons” has proven to be just that.  The album includes songs from the most prolific song writers and performers which have been re-arranged in a modern jazz and blues styling with unique and memorable vocal arrangements.

Released to the public in early 2016, Avery’s debut album, “Life Lessons” has received media attention, critical acclaim and airplay on CBC Radio One, JazzFM91 – Canada’s premiere Jazz station, and other stations across the country. The album was also nominated for ‘Jazz Recording of the Year’ at the 2016 HMA’s.
